In 2006, Dr. Joyce L. Walden, founder of GPPC, birthed the vision of making contributions to the field of performance consulting.  She holds a PhD in Education, with a Training and Performance Improvement Specialization (including Instructional Systems Design), based on the ideologies of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) and the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI).  She also holds a Master of Public Administration/Business Management. 
 
GPPC has completed several successful training and performance improvement research projects, using concepts of Analysis/Design/Development/Implementation/Evaluation (ADDIE), and Human Performance Technology/Improvement (HPT/HPI -Performance and cause analysis, Intervention Selection & Design, Intervention Implementation and Workplace Support, Evaluation of Results).
